We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team at a leading grease manufacturing firm. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial operations within the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Your expertise in accounting principles, financial analysis, and manufacturing operations will be crucial in supporting our growth and profitability.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the grease manufacturing firm, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and inventory management.
Perform financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to provide accurate financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and tax filings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
Coordinate and supervise the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production, procurement, and sales, to gather relevant financial data and support decision-making processes.
Conduct periodic audits and internal reviews to assess operational efficiency, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements.
Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in accounting and finance, and apply them to enhance the firm’s financial operations.
Train, mentor, and provide guidance to junior accounting staff, fostering their professional growth and development.
Support external audits and liaise with external stakeholders, including tax authorities, banks, and auditors.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in Tally and ERP systems.

Salary: ₹20,000.00 – ₹25,000.00 per month
